I used foam plugs for years and they always ached by 2am on my side. These have been in the rotation for about six weeks. Traffic still exists but it sits further back. The vents are the part I notice. They do not vanish completely, which is honest, but I stay asleep.

I nap between shifts in a bright kitchen-facing room. Old masks sat on my lashes and I kept peeling them off. This one I have used for a month. Cups sit off the eyes so I can blink. It is a bit warm on humid days, but the dark is real enough to drop off.

Guest-house curtains never do the job. I packed the mask for a long weekend and wore it for afternoon rest. Street light was gone. At 30g I forgot it was there after the first ten minutes. I still prefer my own pillow, but the dark was the win.

I wash the plugs every few days and keep the case in the drawer. Had them three months. Neighbour’s TV used to pull me out around midnight. Now I turn once and stay down. Fitting them the first night took a minute. After that it is just part of getting into bed.
